Kids & Baby

Muslin first. Then the whole room.

Printed double-gauze muslin developed as a baby collection — swaddles, squares and burp cloths — with the compliance questions answered before the design ones.

What we create

A baby collection, then the room around it.

We develop original artwork. Licensed characters are only possible where the licence is held and documented by the brand.

Development detail

Compliance first, then charm.

Double-gauze construction

Two fine gauze layers bound together — the reason muslin has its crinkled surface and light hand. It also changes how a print reads: the texture breaks fine line work, so motifs are drawn larger and simpler than they would be for a woven bedding ground.

Performance characteristics are established by test for the specific quality; the construction alone does not imply them.

Chemical compliance

Requirements differ by destination market. The applicable standard is identified at briefing, and only documented compliance is stated.

Construction safety

Closures, trims and small components are specified against the safety requirements of the target market and age group.

Original illustration

Character-free original artwork developed for the brand — avoiding the licensing exposure of recognisable properties.

Original print design

Hand-feel and wash

Baby textiles are washed more often than any other category. The ground and print route are chosen against that cycle, and the approved colour reference accounts for it.

Frequently asked

Before you brief us.

Can one print run across muslin and woven bedding?

Yes, but not as the same file. The crinkled gauze surface swallows fine detail, so the motif is redrawn at a larger scale for muslin and kept finer on the woven ground. The two read as one family without being identical artwork.

Can you produce licensed character bedding?

Only where you hold the licence and can document the rights for the territory and product. Otherwise we develop original artwork with a similar spirit.

Which certifications apply to baby textiles?

It depends on the market and the product. We identify the relevant standard together and state only certifications valid for the specific quality and scope. We do not describe a ground as safe, organic or breathable without the document behind that specific claim.

Can one illustration cover the whole room?

That is the intended approach — a hero scene for the duvet, smaller elements for cushions and muslin, and a coordinating ground so the room holds together.
